Third Screen Media Privacy Policy
Internet user privacy is of paramount importance to Third Screen Media and our clients. We support the protection of client and consumers’ privacy rights as a fundamental element of our business. Since personal privacy integrity is at the very core of our business, our success depends implicitly upon our ability to maintain the trust of the people viewing our products. To this end, we have two distinct policies:
- Client data policy: As our client, you have exclusive ownership and rights to your subscriber data.
- SMS and Email Recipient Policy: Before clients can use Third Screen Media’s technology to send SMS or email, that client must commit to us that their recipients have agreed to receive such messages. Any recipient may request at any time to be removed from the clients’ list, and we will comply with that request within one business day. In addition, we will thoroughly investigate any allegations made by recipients relating to unsolicited SMS or email.
Website Data Collection & Usage
Third Screen Media is the sole owner of the data collected on our website. We do not sell, share, or rent this data. Third Screen Media collects this date and uses it exclusively to send only appropriate information to users who request it.

Third Screen Media uses IP addresses to monitor and administrate our site and collect data to analyze trends. IP addresses are not linked to any personally identifiable information. Third Screen Media’s website contains links to other sites. Third Screen Media is not responsible for the privacy practices of these sites. We recommend that users read the privacy statements of each website.
Opt Out
All SMS and email communications sent by Third Screen Media have clear instructions on how to unsubscribe from future communications. This can be accomplished in several ways, including clicking on the unsubscribe link within the message or replying to the message indicating that you no longer wish to receive communications.
Security Statement
Along with privacy, security is of utmost importance at Third Screen Media. Therefore, substantial investments have been made in Third Screen Media’s technology platform including high-end servers and hosting, database applications, and security technologies.
Notification of Changes to our Privacy Policy
When a change to our privacy policy occurs, we will post a notification on our homepage. If there is a material change to personally identifiable information, the user will be notified by email and they may opt out.
Anti-Spam Statement
In conjunction with our advertising management and delivery platform, Third Screen Media practices permission-based SMS and email messaging. We do not send unsolicited messages or work with companies who do so. Legal Disclaimer
Though we make every effort to preserve user privacy, we may need to disclose personal information when required by law wherein we have a good-faith belief that such action is necessary to comply with a current judicial proceeding, a court order or legal process served on our website.
Our Clients
Third Screen Media’s advertising management and delivery platform offers significant flexibility to our clients to create, manage and measure the effectiveness of their advertising progams.
In some cases Third Screen Media assists our clients by collecting subscriber demographics and profile information to assist in providing subscribers with the most relevant possible content. Third Screen Media supports advertising and messaging delivery with sophisticated tracking technology allowing our clients to send personalized and targeted communications to their audience. Third Screen Media also provides our clients with the ability to analyze data and transfer this data back to the client. Third Screen Media does not own the data collected and cannot use it for its own business purposes or in any way not authorized by our client.
Clients also use the Third Screen Media application on a self-managed basis to deliver their own advertising campaigns. Third Screen Media has a strict policy against using our application for sending unsolicited advertising. Third Screen Media reserves the right to terminate any client that doesn’t adhere to a strict opt in permission policy.
We encourage all companies with which we do business to engage in fair information practices. To this end, we request that our clients acknowledge and comply with the standards of online privacy, as outlined by the Online Privacy Alliance www.privacyalliance.org and the Mobile Marketing Association www.mmaglobal.com/bestpractice.pdf.
Also, in accordance with the Network Advertising Initiative (NAI) www.networkadvertising.org we require our clients to create privacy policy statements and to provide mobile users with conspicuous access to their privacy policy statements. Additionally, we require that our clients disclose any and all information that is being collected from mobile users on their mobile/WAP sites, including data gathered from banners and other forms of advertising, as well as content delivered or other transactions occurring on their mobile sites. Although we cannot monitor every transaction tracked by each of our many clients and match it to each respective client’s privacy policy, we periodically monitor the mobile sites of our clients to determine whether they are adequately disclosing and updating their privacy statements.
